Women in the Military

 

    Women have played major roles in the American Military since the Civil War. At Heritage Park Veterans Museum, the location of my internship, was lacking in an exhibit about women's roles in the military. I was able to fill this need creating an exhibit that featured everything from the only woman to receive the Medal of Honor to the first woman to become a four star general.
